COTD 02.11.14: Heartbreak and sorrow…

3 swords

Today’s COTD is the 3 of Swords

Separation is never easy, it tugs on the heart strings like a heavy weight.  It may be a necessary chosen parting or a sudden infinite one, both of which can be difficult.

Sometimes it’s best if it’s a clean break, with no messy loose ends to tie up.  Sharp and to the point.

Tears may fall and the soul may tremble, and loneliness may engulf you.  These may feel like dark times but eventually this heaviness will lift and your logic and memories should help you make sense of everything that happened, to know that all was done for the best, and to help you move forward with a lighter heart and fond memories of those who were once a bit part of your heart.

RIP little bun bun, you are sorely missed.

Miffy

My tarot buddy Miffy, passed away 31.10.14 – every day I’d sit down to do my COTD for you and Miffy would watch me working away.  I’d always chat away to him as though he understood every word I said.  And now I look where his little house used to be under the stairs next to my work space and it is empty.  I really miss by bun bun friend of 8 years, the house seems very quiet without him.  I will miss him sorely and never forget him.  His friend Dobs misses him too, he’s slinking around the house looking for him, I will have to ensure cuddles are aplenty for him while he adjusts to being the only pet in the house.
