My lovely son bought me some protective sleeves for my favorite tarot cards, Ciro Marchetti’s Legacy of the Divine, these are a brand new deck, my 3rd copy of them in fact, and I wanted to preserve them a little longer than the others. So I carefully slipped each card into its own protective jacket and now need larger hands to cope with them! Here’s why…
My sleeved Legacy deck compared to my Morgan-Greer deck, look how much thicker the deck has become. Also the sleeves make the cards super slippery, although I have it on good authority the slippiness subsides with use (this coming from a sweaty mitted teenager).
On the upside, my cards look lovely and glossy and won’t get ragged to bits with constant use. I am slowly getting used to the bigger deck size now, I shuffle close by to avoid having to round up the ones that go shooting out all over the place.
So if you fancy have an excitingly slippy time with some tarot sleeves, why not, it’s had me laughing if nothing else.
