08.03.17 – Today’s COTD is the 9 of Swords

Most of us are living shattered dreams to some extent.  Yet it’s how we carry on after the destruction of them that manifests the life we live today.  The older we get the more broken dreams we carry.

We pick up the pieces and try as we might, to glue them all back together, a different picture often emerges,  one which shows our true selves, our true purpose in life, and one that is more attainable than the dreams we dreamed of once upon a time.

But what if the life you’re currently living isn’t anything like the one you dreamed of?

Ask yourself what your dream was.  Was it far-fetched, too fairytale, or too far away from the reality you lived in?  It’s good to dream big, just remember to keep reality in play too.
