12.03.17 – Today’s COTD is IV The Emperor

This is a man who knows how to look after the hearts of those around him, his family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances.   He is powerful and forthright, he is the epitome of what a man should be.  Strong, courageous, thoughtful, wise, kind, respected. He is a good man.

But just like any good man or woman, it is sometimes easy to be disrespected by the people you are closest to.  To be crossed, cheated, hurt and let down by them when you least expect it.

However, when these things happen to you, more often than not it is not your fault or of your doing.  It is purely a reflection of the other person.  They show their true self in their behaviour towards you, and towards others.  They expose themselves fully with their words and actions.  How you react to their behaviour also exposes your true self too, so be your own Emperor, and act accordingly, and show yourself to be the good person you truly are.
