18.03.17 – Today’s COTD is the 9 of Pentacles

Feathering your nest is all well and good, so long as you can afford to do so.

Keeping up appearances for the sake of it can be a foolish game to play.   However, if you are building a nest egg for your future security, then that could be seen as wise.

Materialism is a strong draw in life, to have the best, the biggest, the prettiest, the showiest, etc. to impress others and show off your worth.  Yet this can be a lonely existence, and too much gloating over the latest shiny acquisition may actually be creating an isolated cage for you to live in instead of a warm welcoming soft nest where others would enjoy visiting.
