22.03.17 – Today’s COTD is Judgement

To judge someone you yourself have to be perfect in every way.  And as no one actually is, then we are really in no position to do so.  However, we all do, to some degree, don’t we?

We judge people by their looks, the way they walk, talk and even smell.  By the way they lead their lives, what job they do and what car they drive, and even how they raise their children.  Yet who are we to pass judgement on a fellow human being?

Practice being non-judgemental today, it’s a skill worth learning.  It can also eliminate the pressure of ‘keeping up with the Joneses’ too.   Everyone lives their lives in a way that suits them best, no one is better or worse than the next, we are all doing our best to traverse life with as few pitfalls as possible.  So before you jump to a conclusion about anyone, or anything, take a breath, clear your mind and smile, for they are merely mortal just like you and me.
