23.03.17 – Today’s COTD is the Moon

The beautiful Luna shines brightly in the night sky, she whispers to us as we stare at her and highlights our path in the dark.  She helps us ponder deep within our minds, to think, to dream, to image what life would be like if our paths had taken a different direction.   She controls the tides, the ebb and flow of our bodies, her gravitational pull is powerful to us, and she appears magical and all-knowing.

We would all be lost without this glowing beacon in the night sky, engulfed in darkness night after night.  On occasion she does have a night off, this is to remind us how bleak things could be should she vanish forever from our night sky.

It is also important to be our own shining beacon, to develop ways to shine brightly for ourselves and for those around us too.
