14.04.17 – Today’s COTD is V The Elder

Be careful who you invite to your table today, not everyone is honest and true, there may be a snake or two in the mix.  

Experience should tell you who is full of good intentions, and who isn’t. This isn’t easy, luckily we have the wise old tree/Elder to call upon, with its deep roots and far-reaching branches bearing gifts of knowledge and insight for us to utilise and consume.

There are lessons to be learnt in every situation we encounter, a snake may be wise, but that does not make him sensible.  Listen to that voice in your head, your subconscious, it knows a thing or two, even if you yourself don’t.  Try not to override your inner voice with your consciousness, you could fall foul of the snake beside you.
