COTD 10.06.17: Processing…

8 of Swords

10.06.17 – Today’s COTD is the 8 of Swords & Isa

Life can often back us into a situation where we don’t have the answers straight away. Sometimes we need time to digest what is happening and then let things slowly thaw out to reveal the answers we need.

Very often the answers are more simple than we realise.  As our trappings are generally more mental than physical, and any obstacles can be snapped and broken far easier than we realise as they are not as profound as we first thought.  But to get to that point, we have to process the situation at our own speed first.  I call this ‘processing’.

However you ‘process’, do so in a way that is comfortable with you, I go into repetitive mode, a bit like OCD I suppose and binge on things, like the same movie or book (thankfully not food or I’d be a lot bigger than I’d like to be), over and over and over for a period of days, even weeks, it’s a bit like having a comfort blanket I guess, as this allows my brain to switch off enough so I can figure out what I need to do next.
