The witness
Witnesses are often used in dowsing, normally for situations where the client isn’t physically present. For humans and pets, the witness is usually a hair sample, or a photograph. Historically blood samples were sometimes also used, but are not to be used now; or any bodily fluids for that matter! Because that is just so wrong and ick and ew!!!
A witness is used with the intention of bringing the client to mind. Therefore providing a “working concept” that satisfies the conscious mind. If the client is present then they are the witness.
