‘Never a borrower nor a lender be’, is a saying worth taking note of. Being generous with your time and effort can be a wonderful thing, and the recipient should be grateful to you. But when it comes to money this can be a whole different situation. ‘Money is the route of all evil’, is another saying, and this can be quite true in lots of instances. It can cause so many problems and arguments, stresses and strains. So when it comes to being a giving person, maybe consider only giving what you can afford to, especially as by this time of the month money can be tight, as payday may still be a few weeks away.
