For my birthday I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of the beautiful Vamp Tarot Deck, (and tarot bag) featuring the beautiful silent movie star and femme fatale, Theda Bara.  I am also fortunate enough to know and be friends with, the creator of this deck; Steve from www.jooktarot.com

Theda Bara is the most beguiling of creatures, with the most amazing eyes, and is the star of this black and white tarot deck.

Each of the 78 cards depicts a different image of Theda Bara in her movie star roles, wearing the most exquisitely beautiful costumes.  The background of each card has wording from the writings of Count Matteo Boiardo, written beautifully in Steve’s own handwritten calligraphy.  The back of these cards is gorgeous too.

The deck is presented in a handmade box with a fold-out information leaflet included.  The overall presentation of this beautiful tarot deck shows the care and attention that has gone into creating such an amazing deck that anyone would be proud to own.

I’ve not reviewed a tarot deck before, but this one was just too beautiful to resist.  I hope you love the deck as much as I do and equally fall in love with the exquisite creature that is Theda Bara.

This deck is not for beginners, but still worth having in your collection to fawn over.
