Morgan-Greer Tarot
The Empress and 2 of Wands
Your ability to nurture may have people coming to you for advice. They may offer you gifts for your insight, but do you take them? This is a quandary many people can find themselves in when doing good for others, the recipient often feels they have to offer something in exchange.
This can be embarrassing, as the phrase “oh you shouldn’t have” or “you didn’t need to buy me anything” often ensues. As good deeds are done from the heart not for personal gain, unless a deal has been struck before hand of course.
Some tasks do require an exchange, a tarot reading for a small payment for example. An exchange of energy, you do a job for them, they do one for you. Agreeing beforehand what will ensue is often the best course of action, but we know this doesn’t always happen. However you handle your deeds, do so with grace and sincerity and the rewards may surprise you in other ways.
