Scary words…

The Field Tarot

Queen of Swords – Six of Wands

Independence and success is what we hear a lot of today, but what does that mean to us?

For some it’s about money, business, having a managerial role, a CEO perhaps, someone in power over lesser mortals, and for other it’s about being free of overbearing restraints society can put upon us.

These are also two scary words, people can fear those of us who are independent and successful, the trolls of this world try to put us down and diminish what we have worked hard for. People say that’s what they want in a person but can’t handle it when they find it.

But no more!

We are to stand our ground, no longer having to defend ourselves, our rights to aim for our goals, or to celebrate our wins.

For me, I work for what I have and hard too, I am – for the most part – successful in this too. My goal is to be happy, I’m not after material gain or fame, just a comfortable life and home, with those I love around me. To me that’s my best success. What’s yours?
