This week, you may be recovering from some mental fatigue, possibly from recent stress, an upset or a grief-stricken experience. After every heartbreak comes a rest period, and this week is a good week for that.
Take the time this week to remember life before the stress, the angst and the heartbreak. Remember those we loved and how we loved them too. Recognise the deep connection you had together and release the love you felt for them into the heavens and let the peace you feel from doing so rain down in stars upon you to guide you on your recovery.
After 15 years, I find grief is a funny thing. You (I) can go for many months feeling good then BAM! it hits you like a sledgehammer; then it can be gone just as fast. Time is often called a healer, but I think it is an adjustment period. We adjust to loss in our own way, and in time it becomes quite a normalised thing to live with. Anniversaries and seasonal events can cause grief to stir, but it is how we recognise and deal with it that can make our experience of it more manageable.
So here’s to every one of you who recognises what I’m trying to say. You are not alone and as we continue on life’s journey our memories become all the more precious.
