02.06.17 – Today’s COTD is the 5 of Earth and Hagalaz

Fighting to survive in this crazy man-made world we live in can make many of us tough skinned. This hard shell though often houses a sensitive core which we reveal only to those worthy of seeing it.

Life often becomes difficult, yet we offer more of ourselves each day only to be trampled on by the unworthy and greedy.  The vultures or energy vampires who thrive on our misery are always close by, waiting patiently for us to show our weaknesses, to entertain them in their lust for drama.

It is important to find sanctuary, a place we can relax and let our hard shells thaw out. Without a ‘bolt hole’ to retreat to, we too can be poisoned by the toxins of this man-made world of ours.
