Your cards for w/c 19th September 2022

I have delayed posting this week out of respect for our Queen, Elizabeth II. She had a beautiful funeral yesterday, watched by millions across the world. The cards drawn today reflect her final journey beautifully.

The Magician shows how everything can come together to create a beautiful, yet sombre, occasion. The Emperor speaks of our new King, Charles III. The Chariot reflects the Queen on her way to meet with the Jesus she loved and represented as head of the Church of England. I hope he welcomed her with open arms.

For us commoners, these cards are here to remind us that life goes on. That we do have the tools or the ability to acquire them to create something beautiful for ourselves, something that we can rule over and gain confidence, wisdom and maturity from. This is a journey we need to undertake regularly as taking control of our own lives and our own journey brings personal empowerment.

I also drew us, mere commoners, another card, Movement. This card reminds us to keep moving, even if we’re in one spot. This keeps us alive, our heart beating and our blood circulating, all ready for our next journey to begin.

May our Queen rest in peace. Long live the King.
